Microprecision Electronics SA is extending the possibilities of its MP700 series of sealed limit switches in order to facilitate the connection of limit switches as sensing devices to industrial bus systems. The switches are now available with an M12 connector integrated directly into the housing, thus making for easy and flexible interfacing to a bus interconnect box. This feature allows for a simple and detachable cable connection as an alternative to the common potted cable solution. Standard M12 connection cables are broadly available.
